Caribbean Fiber Project

Designer

· Design and develop layouts for OSP Fiber design.

· Generation of bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation for the design.

· Review of completed design for errors and efficiency.

· ISP Patch panel diagrams/cable rack layouts.

· Ensure design specifications are maintained.

· Adhere to appropriate quality control procedures.

· Complete CAD conversions for backbone, primary and secondary fiber, while implementing DCRs and Splice Matrices.

 

Google Fiber Project

Sr. Fiber Designer

· Responsible for the QC and design process of LCPs to ensure that they meet the criteria of the SOW and MOP.

· Complete a minimum of 4 LCPs a week so that we are able to meet our clients deadlines.

· Communicate with the team leads and project manager to stay current with SOW and MOP changes to maintain quality throughout the project.

· Use 3-GIS NX map service to run through our QC processes for preliminary, CRO and redesigns of LCPs

· Ensure that all cables, structures, splice enclosures, risers, and conduits are attributed correctly throughout the designs for the BOMs.

· Fill out the QC inspection sheet with detailed descriptions of errors found in the assigned LCP and communicate with the contractors to ensure the necessary changes are made.

· QC BHC Rhodes permits for UG routing of fiber, conduit and the placement of structures to ensure consistency between the permits and FMS design.

 

 

 

Advanced1 (Adecco) - CAD Drafter, Georgetown, TX 10/11 - 9/13

Drafter

· Generated detailed coax and strand drawings using Microstation 2008 (Bentley Communications) and V8i.

· Responsible for the production of multiple maps at a time while keeping up with the standard of drafting .80 mph.

· Follow updated specs for the placement of route strands, different poles, ped’s and cell towers. Detailed quality check of each map at completion prior to submission to QC for final reviews.

 

Serviceability QC/Coordinator

· QC 5-10 people at a time making sure that they hold true to the company standards and that they are following the correct procedures to produce quality work.

· Make critical decisions on how a survey should be worked and if the job will be, completed construction, completed - serviceable, rejected, not serviceable, on-hold - sent to field or sent to the client for questions.

· Train and help mold new drafters after they join the team from the first wave of training.

Anheuser Busch – MCC Plant - Jacksonville, FL 12/08 - 2/09

Engineering Intern

· Monitor the AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) and document any issues when they occur.

· Maintain a daily log of the AGVs production and report all findings to management.

· Communicate with QA (Quality Assurance) workers and forklift operators to ensure production is running smooth, throughout the Manufacturing Facility.
